I've been watching NBC's The Event on Hulu usually on Tuesday's because it airs Monday evenings when I am unavailable. I must say that it is my favorite new show currently on TV.
The cast, the writing and the mystery is really fascinating. If you liked Lost, which I did, and 24, which I did, then NBC has upped it's game by taking concepts from those two shows and throughing them together.
Also, cudos to NBC, not only for The Event but for Community and Outsourced which are other fantastic shows on NBC and worth checking out.
I usually try to give recommendations rather than trying to sum up an entire show. I would say watch episode 1 of The Event, it's up on Hulu or try Side Reel and see if you like the show for yourself.
