To Recall or Not To Recall, That's One Hard Question

I love the movie Total Recall starring the soon to be former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. I also love that we as the audience don't know whether or not Arnold's character is actually in recall or not, thus the entire movie could be a dream or it could actually be reality.

I personally believe that Arnold is in recall for a simple reason. That Arnold, who plays Douglas Quaid, picks the exact same "memory" right before he goes into recall and even selects the type of women he needs to help him complete his mission. The counter-argument is that all of these choices were hidden away inside of him and even Melina, the women who helped him out was a buried past memory. 

Perhaps all that is true but I will think Quaid is in recall.

Overall one great movie, 9/10.
